You can drop off your non-perishable food items, toiletries, diapers/pull-ups, and pet food at any one of our drop-bins located throughout the community and at local grocery stores. Please bring any clothing, backpacks, sleeping bags/blankets, and other fabric goods directly to our Queens location during operating hours.

As part of our Seed Hospitality House Ministry, we offer through our Boutique an array of items that we distribute to the community for free. From clothing to kitchen supplies, we provide the necessities for people to be comfortable and get back on their feet.
We welcome all gentle used or brand new items to distribute through the Boutique during regular operational hours at 625 Queens Ave. We ask that these items are not placed in the drop-off bins located in the community, due to food safety concerns. We have a particular need for men’s clothing and shoes, but are happy to accept all gently used or new items. Check out the list below for items of greatest need!
While donations of non-perishable goods continue to be important staples, BC Sharing provides The Mustard Seed’s Food Bank with more buying power at local grocery stores. This allows us to purchase items that will provide our hampers with a full scope of nutritional needs, ensuring that our community is getting proper balanced meal options.
Donating through BC Sharing is easy! Simply request to add $2 onto your grocery bill at participating grocery stores, and the store provides us with a gift card.
Look for a card like this at participating grocery stores: Thrifty Foods, Save-On-Foods, Fairway Market, Red Barn, The Market on Yates, Country Grocer, & Peppers Foods
Giving a gift of capital property such as bonds, stocks and shares is a great way to give a gift and support The Mustard Seed Street Church, while receiving tax benefits at the same time.
