The Kitchen Coordinator is a program position with the Hospitality Team, responsible for the planning, preparation and serving of community lunches, management and Christian mentorship of weekday Kitchen Volunteers, communication and cooperation with Weekend Meals Volunteer Teams and ensuring that the Mustard Seed Street Church (MSSC) kitchen complies with Island Health and food safe standards and best practices. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the Kitchen Coordinator will lead and schedule volunteers in the operation of the kitchen which includes program support and will work closely with the Hospitality team.
