The Victoria Sexual Assault Centre’s (VSAC) mission is to support, empower and advocate for women and all [trans] survivors of sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse. Regardless of when you were assaulted, VSAC is there to support you in your healing journey. VSCA serves as a liaison between individuals affected by sexual violence, the justice and medical systems and community services.

At the request of police, Victim Services (VS) provides highly trained staff to provide immediate on-scene emotional and practical crisis support to victims and witnesses of crime or trauma during office hours. VS also provide telephone support after hours to victims and witnesses of crime or trauma at the request of police.

VictimLinkBC is a toll-free, confidential, multilingual service available across B.C. and the Yukon 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It provides information and referral services to all victims of crime and immediate crisis support to victims of family and sexual violence, including victims of human trafficking exploited for labour or sexual services.

Second Stage Housing Margaret Laurence House

 

Margaret Laurence House (MLH) is a community-based second stage program for women who are leaving an abusive intimate relationship and who have their children in their care at least 50% of the time. MLH provides housing, support, counselling and advocacy. Women will be considered for admission through self-referral or referral from other agencies.
