Provide 8 Fair Start Kits, empowering kids with backpacks filled with supplies, new shoes and more, so they can walk into school confident and ready to learn.
Fund a day of Hospitality Programs like coffee, meals and community-building activities that connect neighbours facing poverty and homelessness to food and supports that help them rebuild their lives.

The Garden
Absolutely. You can adjust or pause your monthly commitment at any time, as well as update payment information by emailing donors@mustardseed.ca or calling us at 250-953-1581.
That’s up to you! If you sign up to give monthly through our website, you choose what day you would like it to begin and subsequently be charged each month. If you decide to give monthly through direct bank withdrawal, those gifts get processed on the 25th of each month.
Each gift is receipted monthly, at the time of donation and sent to you via email, or by post if requested. Also, upon request we can hold off sending your receipts until the end of the calendar year. All donors will also receive an annual Giving Statement outlining all donations given over the previous year.

While our monthly tiers (like Meals or Fair Start) show you the tangible impact of your dollar, monthly gifts to The Garden are generally directed to our area of Greatest Need. This gives us the flexibility to respond to seasonal crises and ensure no program—from the Food Bank to our Hospitality Program—goes unfunded.
