Hope Farm Healing Centre

“Hope Farm is a restorative farming community grounded in Christian Practice that offers a sanctuary of hope and healing.”
Hope Farm Healing Centre is located in the heart of the Cowichan Valley. This agricultural hot spot is home to our 36-acre farm and addictions recovery centre. Our program is designed for men who wish to be free from addiction. Hope Farm is designed to reconnect people to the land while empowering them with valuable farming skills. Hope Farm Healing Centre is a community of holistic healing that offers counseling and recovery services to our valued clients. What does life on Hope Farm look like? We require a six-month commitment from all participants. For those ready to make such a commitment, Hope Farm offers an environment of recovery in a safe, supportive, and challenging environment. Our weeks are structured around a rhythm of work, rest, worship, community meals, teaching, and counseling. Participation in the activities of the farm is an integral part of the healing process at Hope Farm. The daily work, healing, and learning provides a foundation on which residents can re-build their lives.
Farm Operations: Hope Farm currently grows vegetables, fruit, grain, and hay. We care for several hundred laying hens and broiler chickens, as well as several beef cattle and sheep. Hope Farm is maintained by our Farm Director, Manager, Farmer, Cook, Certified Counselor, and 24/7 caregivers. Both staff and setting help foster an environment of hope and healing.
